Just like we are all a work in progress, so is this site. We are working to add more content to make the world a vision impairment more accessible as well as knowledgeable.

Many people lose their site to different things such as diabetes, birth, accidents, cataracts, macular degeneration, and more. It is very important to always pay attention to your eyes and things that may go wrong.

Losing your vision does not mean the end of the world. Life still goes on and so can you. Right here on Talking Blind is where you can learn just how to do that and hear about  others who have.

My mission is to dispel the miss perception about blind individuals, to provide a listening/informative platform for the visually impaired

Their helpers, friends, and family to understand, blindness does not define who we are , we  are so much more.
